What is CSi?

CSi is an inner-city cultural immersion and discipleship internship that will help participants:

• Be transformed in their faith and grow into deeper intimacy with Jesus
• Develop their heart, understanding, and skill in ministry to under-resourced communities
• Be prepared to be effective laborers on campus, in their community, and in life post-college

CSi is designed to develop young adults in their faith and leadership skills through mentoring urban high school youth in life skills and in spiritual development.

 

CSi will take place from June 27th to July 30th, 2022. We live together, eat together, grow in knowing Jesus together, and we impact the people of Compton and surrounding communities together. We serve the community by mentoring high school students who are part of CLIP (Compton Leader Internship Program) and by staffing a week long day camp for elementary and middle school youth. 

 

There is no program cost for successful applicants. For participants age 24 and under, there is an opportunity to enroll in a jobs program that pays you during your work in the CSi program.
